Insurance Issues
Namaste participates in Medicare, Medicaid, and most  locally available insurance plans. However, the insurance plans change all the time, and insurers also change the way we relate to them. Call us to check your insurance plan's status if your plan changes or if you have questions.

Be aware that more and more insurance plans require us to obtain authorization from them before you can: get a prescription refilled; have a procedure done at another clinic; get imaging done (like a CAT scan); see a specialist. You may have to allow us more time to deal with insurance matters before, for example, you receive a medicine refill.

You MUST provide a copy of your current insurance card at the time of your visit.  You know those little tiny phone numbers and stuff on the back of your card, that you ignore? We need that information!


Payment at Time of Service
Namaste Health Care requires payment of insurance co-pays at the time of service. This allows us to keep our attention on doing the best we can for you. Your medical insurance may not cover all your costs at Namaste Health Care. If we send you a statement for the remaining balance that has been assigned as your responsibility, we will expect prompt payment.

Self pay patients are expected to pay in full for services on the date the service is provided. If you need to work out a payment plan over a longer time, be aware that the self-pay discount will no longer apply.

If you are more than 30 days late on any payment, we reserve the right to add finance charges to your account.
